a show at Laconia's Video Choice on June 20th (just in time for the end of Bike Week!) Make

3rdSide played host to Starbucks' open mic event on May 28th. Donations were accepted for
cancer research and the community response was overwhelming. A similar show is in the works
for June, again raising money for cancer research. Check back for more information soon.

The White Witch might as well have been pouring winter out over us again last night, but some
crazies braved the weather anyway and we had a fun evening at the Beijing. The crowd started
getting especially involved near the end when Derek tried to play his 'last song.' He was called
back for an encore repeatedly, rolling out some cover requests. Special thanks to those who
stuck around for the encores (and requested encores!) and those who came up to chat with
us... that was wonderful. We hope to see you again next time, March 14th!

3rdSide's Borders show truly beat a few odds- it was snowing like crazy outside, but inside
everyone was having a good time and enjoying good music. The set list was tight and the
performances were fiery. As the closing number, Derek and Tom played "3 Ravens" for the first
time ever live, getting more than a few ooohs and ahhhhs. The show was taped and videos and
pictures are forthcoming.

Last night Derek and Tom unveiled some of their new sound (acoustic guitar with a full drum
set). Among the highlights of the evening, they played "All Along the Watchtower", Derek's
song "Sunshine" and "Risin" from 3rdSide's next album. There was plenty of laughter, and great
interaction with the audience. Derek even recited some lines from 1985's "Legend". Make sure
to join 3rdSide at Borders bookstore in Concord on February 22nd!
